World Rainbow Gathering
in TURKEY 2005
 
The Vision Council of the family on the land at the One World Rainbow Gathering in Costa Rica, consensed that, The Next World Rainbow Gathering will be in Asia, with a Silent prayer for world peace in The Turkey Georgia region on the full moon of May 2005. Seed camp starts on the vernal equinox, march 21st 2005. Scouts are sent to scout in South East Asia for a World rainbow gathering in the northern winter of 2005/06. This was the vision of the family, and Consensus was reached by passing the talking stick in silence around the circle. 8th of May to 6th of June 2005 Silent Prayer for world peace, Full Moon, May 24th 2005 Seed Camp starts March 21 Seed Camp on Eynif Plateau How to get there: Eynif Yaylasi (Plateau) is about 100 kms. Northeast of Antalya city. Bashlar is the nearest village. To reach Bashlar, from Antalya aim for Manavgat – Ibradi or Tasagil – Baslar. From Bashlar about 10 kms. easy walk to the Southeast end of the plateau. This road is getting better for smaller vehicles by May. Another walking trail (11 kms) starts from Ormana village near Ibradi. Nearest train link is Konya. From Konya go Akseki and Ibradi. Local public transport and English language skills are limited. The site is wild, about 1.300 meters high. Be aware of cold nights, big shepherd dogs, far away shop. Remember to bring your personal camping stuff, tools, bulk organic food, water containers, tipies, plastic tarps, alternative medicine.
